SCB's Parent's Code of Conduct

  1. I will remember that the kids play to have fun & that the game is for the players not the parents.

  2. I will inform the coach of any physical disability or ailment that may affect the safety of my child or others.

  3. I will always be a positive role model for my child & the other players by encouraging sportsmanship, showing respect, & demonstrating positive support for all the players.

  4. I will not engage in any unsportsmanlike conduct with any umpires, coaches, players & other parents at any time.

  5. I will demand that my child treats other players, coaches, umpires & spectators with respect at all times.

  6. I will never ridicule or yell at my child or other players for making mistakes or losing a game.

  7. I will refrain from coaching my child or other players during games and practices unless I am asked to help out.

  8. I will not question any of the coach’s decisions that are made during a game or practice at any time.

  9. I will let the coaches’ coach & the players play while being a spectator and will trust that the coach has the player’s best interest in mind when making all decisions.

  10. I will not try to talk to or interact with my child or other players in the dugout or on the field unless it is an emergency.

 

*Parents will be subject to warnings and/or dismissal from games and practices if they fail to abide by these rules and guidelines.

 

By signing, I agree that if I fail to abide by the aforementioned rules and guidelines I will be subject to disciplinary action such as warnings from the coach or umpires as well as dismissal from games and practices.
