
SCB's Player Rules

We expect all of our players to adhere to the following rules of conduct at all times:
At the field:

Always be on time
-
Be present for all tournament games

If for some reason you will be late or absent for a tournament game you must let the coach know prior to
-
Show up in full uniform with shirts tucked in
-
No flip-flops worn to and from the dugout
-
Hat must be worn forwards coming to, leaving, & while at the baseball field
-
Undershirts must be one of the team colors
-
Eye black is allowed but no war paint
-
No earrings on the baseball field
-
No eating in the dugout other than gum, seeds, etc.
-
Players are not to leave the dugout during games without permission from the coach to do so
-
You will play where the coach puts you & bat where you are put in the lineup. No complaining or pouting about playing time
Game Play:
-
Always play hard! Run out every ball, always touch first base, run hard down the line & sprint on and off the field at all times.

No moping or pouting after making an error, striking out, etc….EVER! Always keep your head up and show positive body language at all times

No arguing or questioning the umpires at any time
-
Never, ever throw bats, helmets, gloves, etc. out of frustration
-
No talking to parents during the game or in the dugouts unless it is an emergency
-
Positive body language at all times! Especially on the mound
-
If you are pouting, arguing with umpires, throwing equipment, showing poor body language, fail to hustle or play hard you will be punished by losing playing time. Play the game the right way at all times.

Off-Field/At Hotels:
-
Act like gentlemen at all times
-
No running through the hotel hallways
-
Always be respectful
-
Breaking any laws or being arrested will get you dismissed from the team

Represent your families & The Steel City Buccos with class, dignity, & respect at all times!

Do not embarrass the ball club!
